Your inputs

Every calculation runs locally in your browser. This site is static files with no server-side processing, no database, and no accounts. Bill amounts, denial dates, plan details, patient names, member IDs, claim numbers, provider names, treatment descriptions, generated letters, and calculator results are not transmitted, logged, stored, or used as analytics events. Close the tab and they are gone.

What is collected

The hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is active through automatic setup. Its performance beacon measures page loads and performance to report page views and visits. Reports can use dimensions such as country, path, referrer, device type, browser, and operating system. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not log query strings, use cookies or local storage for usage metrics, or track a person across its customers' properties. Patient names, member IDs, claim numbers, treatment descriptions, denial dates, bill amounts, calculator entries, generated letters, and results are not sent as analytics events. Measurement of /embed routes is being reviewed separately.

The Appeal Letter Generator is isolated from analytics. The page at /appeal-letter-generator/ does not include the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon, Google AdSense, Google Fonts, or any other third-party resource. A page-specific Content Security Policy allows the site's own files and the inline code needed to build the letter, while blocking network connections, frames, and third-party scripts. The hosting provider still receives the ordinary page request described above, but the information entered into the generator stays in browser memory and is not included in that request.

Advertising and affiliate links

This site includes the Google AdSense publisher tag and may display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where permitted and consented. Read how Google uses data from partner sites and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center. There are currently no affiliate links. If that changes, qualifying links will be identified and this policy will be updated; government and regulator sources will never be affiliate links. The Appeal Letter Generator is the exception to advertising: it does not load AdSense or any advertising resource.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. No calculator depends on them.

DenialDesk does not currently provide a contact form or collect inquiries through the site. This policy will be updated before adding a channel that receives personal or health-related information.
